I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
